We acted as the legal counsel to the energy company Tuulivoimayhtiö Pohjoistuuli Oy and its project companies.

We acted as the legal counsel to the energy company Tuulivoimayhtiö Pohjoistuuli Oy in the sale of shares of its project companies, Tuulivoimapuisto Soidinmäki Oy and Tuulivoimapuisto Tyrinselkä Oy, to the German investment and asset development company Aquila Capital. The sale of shares took place in 2022 and 2023. The total installed capacity of the wind farms is 70 MW and the transaction value was EUR 120 million.

In the transaction, the core team comprised Partner Jussi Ekonen and Associate Hanna Tolonen. In addition to the core team, Lieke’s team comprised Partner Aimo Halonen, Senior Associates Hanna Tuominen, Ida Lindfors, Alisa Montonen and Associate Maija Tevajärvi.

We have acted as the legal counsel to Tuulivoimayhtiö Pohjoistuuli Oy and its project companies throughout the life cycle of the companies and their wind farms Tyrinselkä I and II and Soidinmäki. In particular, we have assisted the companies on matters relating to land use, project financing, turbine supply and maintenance agreements and other project agreements.
