Suomen Hyötytuuli Oy – legal advice for wind power projects
Lieke acts as legal advisor to Suomen Hyötytuuli Oy. We assist the company in contract law matters related to wind power projects.
We are responsible for contract matters regarding land use and construction of Suomen Hyötytuuli’s onshore and offshore projects. We have also acted as legal advisor in transactions where Suomen Hyötytuuli Oy has acquired onshore wind farms.
Lieke’s tasks have included advising on land lease and license agreements, turbine supply and maintenance contracts, and wind farm infrastructure. We also assist in legal project management and claims and risk management.
Suomen Hyötytuuli Oy is a wind power generation company founded in 1998. The company’s shareholders are large Finnish urban energy companies. The company was the first in Finland to commission megawatt-class wind power plants in 1999. The company has also made significant investments in the development of offshore wind power and built the country’s first offshore wind power plant in Tahkoluoto, Pori, in 2010.
