Enlight Renewable Energy – Acquisition of Kukonkylä BESS Project

We acted as legal counsel to Enlight Renewable Energy in connection with its acquisition of the Kukonkylä battery energy storage system (BESS) project from Korkia Oy in Finland.

The Kukonkylä BESS project is located in Kukonkylä, Finland, and has an estimated capacity of 125 MW. Enlight Renewable Energy will lead the remaining development of the project through to commissioning and long-term operation.

Lieke held a full buy-side mandate in the transaction, covering due diligence work and the drafting and negotiation of transaction documentation.

Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd is a leading global renewable energy company dual-listed on Nasdaq and the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
