Haminan Energia Oy – Sale of Haminan Kaasuverkko Oy to the Auris Energy

We acted as the legal advisor to Haminan Energia Oy in a transaction in which Haminan Energia Oy sold the entire share capital of Haminan Kaasuverkko Oy—owner of the natural gas distribution network in the Hamina and Virolahti regions—as well as the company’s natural gas retail business relating to price list customers, to Auris Energy.

The transaction is expected to be completed at the end of January 2023. Haminan Energia Oy is an energy company wholly owned by the City of Hamina.
