Traficom has opened a new call for funding applications to support the implementation of the Cybersecurity Act

Small or medium-sized operators covered by the Cybersecurity Act – have you noticed Traficom’s Cyber Security Centre’s call for funding applications to support the implementation of the Cybersecurity Act of Finland?

Support can be applied for by micro, small, and medium-sized operators falling within the scope of the Act who are registered in the list of operators maintained by the supervisory authority for their own sector.

Financial support may be granted for assessment and development measures that comply with the requirements of Section 9 of the Cybersecurity Act and are implemented between 1 January and 31 December 2026, up to a maximum of EUR 100,000 and a minimum of EUR 10,000 per applicant and project. The support may cover a maximum of 50% of the total costs of the project. Financial support is discretionary and will be granted to applicants who are most successful in the evaluation of applications. The application period will remain open until 16 October at 4:15 PM.
