The assessment covered the operations of Lieke’s Helsinki office for the entire calendar year 2025. The emissions assessment was carried out in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG Protocol), which categorises emissions into three scopes: direct emissions (Scope 1), emissions from purchased energy (Scope 2) and other indirect emissions (Scope 3).<\/p>\n
Our total energy consumption in 2025 was 285.7 MWh, consisting mainly of electricity for the office, charging of electric vehicles and district heating. Renewable energy accounted for 17 per cent of total consumption.<\/p>\n
In 2025, the majority of our total emissions consisted of other indirect emissions, the largest share of which was caused by purchased goods and services. Our total emissions are reported on both a procurement-based and a location-based basis.<\/p>\n
Our first comprehensive emissions calculation provided us with a baseline for monitoring future developments. It enables us to improve the quality of the data used in emissions calculations, identify the most effective emissions reduction measures, develop our procurement practices and promote sustainability cooperation with service providers and other partners.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
