Lieke Attorneys Ltd has provided significant pro bono support to Rise and Shine by participating in the preparation of a guide on coordinating volunteer work and unemployment benefits<\/a>.<\/h3>\n

Rise and Shine has become aware that there are differences in interpretation in the authorities’ assessments of volunteer work which has caused confusion among unemployed job seekers who do volunteer work. Rise and Shine wanted to help clarify the situation and promote equal treatment. The aim has been to create a clear and consistent guide on what kind of volunteer work unemployed job seekers can do without jeopardizing their unemployment benefits.<\/p>\n

Lieke has prepared a legal analysis on which this guide has been created in collaboration between Lieke and Rise and Shine. \u00a0Rise and Shine has expressed appreciation for Lieke\u2019s work and stated that it has significantly improved the quality of the guide.<\/p>\n
